Welcome to Pinetum Farm

We are located on the south side of the Mount Holyoke Range, south of Long Mountain. Our interest in Llamas began when Karen started to look for a fiber that we could produce for her spinning and weaving. We decided on Llamas

 

  

Llamas:

 

Llamas were domesticated thousands of years ago and were developed as pack animals by South Americans. They take naturally to pack saddles and enjoy going on hikes.

 

Our hikes leave from our Farm and are leisurely and enjoyable to all ages.

 

We breed for large classic Llamas and train for hiking companions.
